Hopper™*
Our team has developed Hopper™, a rapid metabolomics-based platform for the identification (ID) and antibiotic susceptibility testing (AST) of microbes. Currently Hopper supports two key applications: UTIDx™ and BSIDx™. These diagnostic tests identify the causative agents of urinary tract infections and bloodstream infections and measures their susceptibility profiles in under four hours.*
BSIDx™ Test for Blood Stream Infections*
The BSIDx™ is a rapid metabolomics-based assay for identification (ID) and antibiotic susceptibility testing (AST) of pathogens that cause bloodstream infections. This assay replaces the two independent tests performed by MALDI-TOF (ID) and VITEK (AST).
• Capacity: 80 samples/day (ID+Sus)
• Time: <5 hours
UTIDx™ Test for Urinary Tract Infections*
UTIDx™ is a rapid metabolomics-based assay for identification (ID) and antibiotic susceptibility testing (AST) of pathogens that cause urinary tract infections. This assay replaces the two independent tests performed by MALDI-TOF (ID) and VITEK (AST).
• Capacity: 1,000+ samples/day (ID+Sus)
• Time: 1 minute (screening), <5 hours for ID + Sus
